The Place of Grace

Our mission focus for the month of February is The Place of Grace in Russellville, AL.

The mission at the Place of Grace is to impact lives with the love of Christ and to instill life skills that will help women recover from addiction and become productive citizens in society.

Meet the director: Jocelynn James Edmonds

Jocelynn fell into addiction after being prescribed pain medication. In the meantime, she became wanted for other crimes. She lost all she had and finally gave up. She wanted help.  She turned herself in to local law enforcement. After being incarcerated and in rehab for a year, she surrendered her life to God! She came home and knew her calling was to help others like her.

Since 2013, Jocelynn has had the pleasure of helping 803 women and 146 men get into facilities and gain their lives back. She has regained the trust of the local judge and district attorney. Jocelynn is currently in the process of opening The Place of Grace Center to continue to share her passion and help one soul at a time.

Jocelynn and her husband came to share their testimony with us on January 30. (Watch it here.) We were excited to hear of the great things happening for The Place of Grace. On February 27, we will be collecting an offering for The Place of Grace to support their mission.

Please prayerfully considering supporting this mission as they help women recover from addiction and work within the Franklin County Jail sharing the love of Jesus.

Your prayers are needed.
